Project-based guarantees are offered under Investment Project Financing (IPF) operations, and they facilitate the raining of financing to achieve defined development objectives through specific activities (e.g., construction of certain assets or provision of defined services, etc.) implemented by government or other public sector entities. They include payment guarantees, loan guarantees and partial credit guarantees.
