Learn more about the GGG Guarantee Directory

The GGG Guarantee Directory is the first publicly accessible, centralized database of green and climate-aligned guarantee instruments offered by public and private institutions worldwide. It enables project developers, financial institutions, and governments to discover, compare, and access guarantees that can help unlock capital for climate investment in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs).

Bridging the information gap

Why was the directory created?

Guarantees are powerful risk mitigation tools but remain underutilized in climate finance. Many project developers and investors are unaware of the full range of options available, or face difficulties understanding eligibility criteria, application requirements, and lending terms.

The Directory addresses these barriers by increasing transparency and streamlining access to essential information on guarantees.
